GetWaiveredTX- Draft

In 2017 there were 1,458 overdose deaths in Texas, more than any previous year on record. Buprenorphine is FDA-approved to treat opioid use disorder (OUD). GetWaiveredTX is a statewide DSHS-funded training initiative from UT Health San Antonio focused on increasing the number of health care providers in Texas delivering evidence-based buprenorphine treatment for OUD.
